How long does the effectiveness of Sun Care Cream SPF 50+ last?
The duration of effectiveness depends on several factors, such as skin type, sun intensity and time of day. In general, an SPF 50+ sunscreen offers 98% protection against the sun’s UVB rays. This means that if sun exposure time without sunscreen would cause a sunburn in 10 minutes, using an SPF 50+ sunscreen should theoretically allow you to stay in the sun for 500 minutes (i.e. 50 times longer) before developing a sunburn. In general, it is advisable to reapply sunscreen every two hours, and we also recommend reapplying after going into the water or sweating heavily.
Is Sun Care Cream SPF 50+ water resistant?
Yes, according to European Union regulations it can be classified as water resistant, which means that it retains its effectiveness for approximately 40 minutes after contact with water, however we recommend reapplying after entering the water or sweating a lot.
